Society| Modern Heroes

Dr. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Melchora Aquino, Lapu-Lapu, Apolinario Mabini, is one of the people who fought for democracy in the Philippines. But you know, National Heroes Day is not only celebrated in the Philippines but also in the different parts of the world. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk of Turkey, Queen Elizabeth II of United Kingdom, George Washington of United States of America, America and many other countries honor their soldiers.“Tomb of the Unknown Soldier”, a tradition that started after the First World
War to honor all those soldiers who had lost their life in battle without their remains being identified.

Nowadays, in spite of seeing crimes, there are people who prevent crimes. In spite of all the fight, there are the peacemakers. In spite of all the confusions, there are the ones who will enlighten us.

A poor child has no clothes and felt really cold when suddenly a woman who has a jacket immediately covered the child with her jacket.
A man who lives in the streets beg for money and is sick. With the thousand people who walk through him only one who wholeheartedly helped the man.
A child lost in the city and have no idea in this world seen by a humble woman consoled her and brought her to the police station for them to help the child to go home safely and find her parents.
A teacher who works all day and all night just to finish the papers and grades for her dear students.
This is the Modern Heroes.

Being a heroe is not being a soldier and risking your life it's about how you help your dear brothers and sisters. All of us can be a heroe. Being part of this world is a big responsibility, with billions of us in this world each one of us have tasks that the lord has given to us. So, let us be a heroe in ourselves.
